1.What we need from you
You provide
- Passport or other identity document (internal passport, birth certificate) birth certificate for children
- Proof of residence in Ukraine before 24 Feb 2022 if not a Ukrainian citizen (residence permit)
- Slovak accommodation address (simple owner consent is enough)
- Power of attorney for migrant.sk with us our template; signature certified (or signed at the foreign police)
We arrange
- No fee; registration at the foreign police we accompany you and fill in the form
Where clients most often fail: housing and finances
- Housing: you need a notarised declaration by ALL owners, or a notarised lease in your name. A plain lease without certified signatures is not enough. At least 6 months.
- Finances: a bank confirmation of the balance on an account in your name. The amount is 12× the subsistence minimum (from 1 Jul 2026 €3,542.64 in total); for business an extra separate business account. Not older than 90 days.
- Every document issued abroad needs an apostille (or superlegalisation) and a certified Slovak translation. Translate after the apostille.
- No document may be older than 90 days on the filing day (except marriage and birth certificates).
