Migrant.sk helps foreigners in Slovakia obtain and keep a residence permit, start a business and arrange documents. The founders have more than five years of experience with residence of foreigners; Migrant.sk s.r.o. was founded in 2023. We have clients from all over the world – from Ukraine, the Balkans, Asia and beyond. We help everyone regardless of nationality. Our office is in Košice, but we work across all of Slovakia and handle most matters online.
Our mission
Remove barriers. A foreigner in Slovakia deals with authorities, documents, language and deadlines all at once, often without knowing where to start. We tell you exactly what is needed, prepare the documents and accompany you at the authorities so that moving to Slovakia and settling in goes smoothly, without the mistakes that cost time and money.
What we do
- Residence: temporary residence for employment, business, study and family reunification, permanent and long-term residence, temporary protection and the switch from protection to regular residence.
- Renewals: we track deadlines, check arrears and file on time.
- Business: trade license or s.r.o. with a registered address anywhere in Slovakia, accounting, tax return, A1 form.
- Documents: criminal record extracts from your home country and Slovakia, official translations, driving licence exchange, certificates from authorities.
- Finance: loans, insurance, leasing and mortgages – we recommend partners who are registered financial intermediaries and work with foreigners; we do not provide financial intermediation ourselves.

- Your situation first. A questionnaire or a short consultation so we know what you really need, not what can be sold.
- Clear price up front. We confirm the exact amount before work starts. State fees are listed separately, nothing is hidden.
- A tailored document list. Not a generic list from the internet, but what the police or authority requires for your purpose of stay.
- Accompaniment. The appointment at the foreign police, filing, responses to the authority’s requests, collecting the card. You do not go to the authorities alone.
- One contact. You write to us on Telegram or WhatsApp and we reply in Ukrainian, Slovak or English. You see the status of your case and documents in your account on the website.

Who is behind it
Migrant.sk s.r.o. was founded in 2023 by Slavomír Michalčík and Vasyl Vasiuta. We combine Slovak knowledge of authorities and business with first-hand Ukrainian experience. At the Košice office, assistants who speak Ukrainian and Slovak work with clients.
Where to find us
Office: Moyzesova 50, Košice. Registered seat: Werferova 6, Košice. You can write to us any time; we usually reply within a few hours on working days. Most services are handled remotely; we accompany you to the authorities in Košice and elsewhere in Slovakia by arrangement.
What we do not do
We are not a law firm and do not provide legal representation. We do not promise the outcome of proceedings, the authority decides that. We are responsible for a correct, complete and timely prepared filing; the authority decides on the application. You always know the status of your case.
